Ayarablue - I´m browsing the downloads on this site almost everyday while having breakfast, and getting happy looking at all the great stuff here. Today I happened to end up on the support site (which I have never needed, so have never bothered to check before) and read about the complaints. Complaints! What on earth? What is there to complain about? A free site, with wonderfully whacky, well-made and regular updates - and yet there are complaints? I´m stunned. Anyway, the good thing is it got me to finally post here and say THANK YOU Kate and other residents for your fun and imaginative work. After my harddrive crashed last weekend I have spent the last 3 days (all day!) tracking down the *required* custom content. It has been a long, frustrating process. Which is exactly why I saved stopping by here for last.
You have no idea how incredibly grateful I am right now that you ALWAYS include the meshes (THANK YOU!!!) The quality of your creations is ALWAYS exceptional. And probably most importantly right now, I got a good laugh out of reading the message on the home page. My own website has been in maintenance mode for the past month and a half due to IE incompatibility!

Sandy - Sorry to hear you're having so many problems with the people who come here. I hope it gets better. I've never created CC, but I've used it when I've built my houses. I can usually find what I'm looking for here and about fifty percent of my sims CC clothes come from here....lol. You guys are just really good at making clothes. Thanks. I remember when I first bought the Sims 2-this site was among the first I stumbled upon, and a good portion of my custom content was from here. Eric Poling - Kate, the Sims stuff from Parsimonious has been a must have for me since the original Sims. While I am anxious to see what you come up with for Sims 3, I don't want to see you rush it. Take your time and keep the Sims 2 folks happy until you are comfortable with the requirements for the new version. The stuff you guys come up with is worth the wait!

Actually, this is not a "real support" question. It's just that I marvel at the intelligence and grace with which you addressed your review of the Sims 3. As a Sims 2 game player, but primarily as a human being, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks for your integrity and generosity to this community of creators and players, and to ALL the creators at Parsimonious, for their honesty and directness in addressing to Maxis/EA the many and varied issues you found with the Sims 3. It is that type of selflessness we require in the world at large. My mother found this site and it has to be one of her favorite sites. She is turning 65 tomorrow, and loves playing the sims. She's always searching for beautiful things she can put in her game.
She wanted to tell you that she loves your gardens and the plants you created that never need watering. And basically just anything else you've done.
She knows you by name, and she says, "Tell her I think she's the best." ^__^
(English is her third language, and she didn't feel she could type out well enough to tell you just how much she loves your work.)

I love your "work" and I think that you are the best making things for The Sims. I loved - specially - your "Very Tikki" creation. I have Very Tikki Living, Dinning, Bedroom & Nursery.
I would like to know if you will continue the line "Tikki", making the bathroom and Kitchen. I placed those objects in Stories (Castway) and they were beautiful, they combine with the island. Now, it just lacks the bathroom and the kitchen. Will it be that you would make that to please an old lady that loves your work?

This latest massive effort (5th anniversary)is jaw droppingly awesome. I have been a visitor since early Sims 1 times. You never disappoint.

I first stumbled upon this website 5 years ago when looking for downloads for the Sims 1 and I have since been following it closely, particularly after the release of the Sims 2, and it remains one of my favorite websites and, in my opinion, one of the BEST places to get any kind of download for both Sims games. And it's 100% free! You can't get any better than that!
Words can't express my admiration, really. It's just amazing. The quality is great (my only complaint being a lack of recolors) but that's not a big problem....and you have an amazing variety of downloads for all tastes.
And then you come with mind-blowing sets like the one for your 5th anniversary. It just keeps getting better.

I don't have the expansions, and I almost never download lots. But it's so much fun to navigate the map and book that it simply doesn't matter!

The only I can give for the moment is to thank you for the most wonderful afternoon I had, browsing through this detailed story and developing all those beautiful little things. I love so much that idea with the map and really felt like being back a child and until today I think I have not seen everything in it's detail. What I love is... well - I can't decide.. the whole idea and work is simply unique and stunning.
And I admire how you put together this 1001 hours of work - or even more for this community.
